Vector Model 2003 Peristaltic Pump

Dry-Case Roller Design — up to 0.94 GPM at 30 PSI

The Vector 2003 is an industrial-grade roller-style peristaltic pump for transfer duties up to about 1 GPM. A dry case and rotating rollers pinch the hose, so the only wear part in contact with the process fluid is the hose itself. When the pump is operated at ≤80 RPM and ≤8 hours per day, typical hose life is 1,500–2,000 hours.

Because there are no seals, valves or packing in the fluid path, the 2003 is commonly used for abrasive slurries and chemically aggressive fluids. The same seal-less design also makes it a practical portable transfer pump on a cart and a good fit for food and beverage transfer where check valves would be a liability.

Hose Materials & Connections

Vector 2003 pumps are available with PharMed^®, Hypalon, natural rubber, EPDM, silicone and Varprene hose materials. We can review chemical compatibility and provide samples for soak testing when needed.

• Extruded hoses — preferred for foods, pharmaceuticals and clean fluids at lower pressure. Typical life 700–1,000 hours at 30 RPM.
• Fiber-braided hoses — preferred for abrasives, stronger vacuum and longer life. Typical life 1,500–2,000 hours at 30 RPM.

Hose connections are reusable and are typically male NPT, hose barb or tri-clamp style in PTFE, brass or 316 stainless steel.

Gear-Motor Options

Five ¼ HP gear-motor speeds are available in single- or three-phase. Maximum pressure falls at the higher speeds:

Single-phase 115–230 VAC or three-phase 230–460 VAC, 60 Hz TEFC motors. A shaft-drive configuration (no motor) is also available. PharMed hose is limited to 13.5 PSIG for food handling.
