Hayward T Series vertical centrifugal pumps feature a single non-coupled motor/impeller shaft with a proprietary, patent-pending PTFE shaft seal. This design is superior to conventional vertical centrifugal pumps that use a coupled shaft and o-ring seal. The solid one-piece 303 stainless steel shaft, extended shaft sleeve, and seal point located away from the weep hole result in less vibration and true running performance.
These seal-less immersible pumps are available from 1/3 HP to 1-1/2 HP with pump heads in CPVC, glass-filled polypropylene (GFPP) or PVDF. They are rated for continuous-duty service and are well suited for aggressive chemicals and reclaimed fluid applications.
