This 2" size industrial peristaltic hose pump is designed to transfer fluids at a rate up to 25 GPM and at pressure as high as 60 PSI. It's simplistic dry casing and roller design will provide hose life within the 1,00 to 2,000 hour range when operated at ≤ 50 RPM for ≤ 8 hours daily.
The dry roller design is especially advantageous for food industry and fine chemicals applications which are sensitive to contamination of glycerin and glycol lubricated peristaltic hose pumps. The below video shows a 2007 peristaltic pump transferring wet, pasty beans. They had previously used a hopper fed progressing cavity pump for this transfer application, however the hopper often clogged and the pump required frequent (expensive) repairs.
The peristaltic hose materials include EPDM, Hypalon, natural rubber, oil-rated nitrile and Varprene. The different hose materials have different pressure and temperature limitations. If you are unsure of compatibility with your fluid, we can assist and we can also provide samples for soak tests if desired.
The hose connections are hose barb, male NPT, ANSI flange or tri-clamp style and available in PTFE, carbon steel and 316SS.
We provide (6) different gear motors ranging from 1½ to 3 HP to cover a range of flow rates up to 40 GPM if the service is intermittent. All motors are 230-460v 3 phase although we can accommodate single phase motors if needed.
