Vector Model 2004 Peristaltic Pump

Dry-Case Roller Design — up to 2.52 GPM at 45 PSI

The Vector 2004 is an industrial-grade roller-style peristaltic pump for transfer duties up to 2.52 GPM at pressures to 45 PSI. A dry case and rotating rollers pinch the hose, so the only wear part in contact with the process fluid is the hose itself. When the pump is operated at ≤80 RPM and ≤8 hours per day, typical hose life is up to 2,000 hours.

Because there are no seals, valves or packing in the fluid path, the 2004 is a practical choice for abrasive slurries, chemically aggressive fluids and shear-sensitive products. It is self-priming, can run dry without damage, and is fully reversible.

Fluid Handling Capability

Hose Materials & Connections

Vector 2004 pumps are available with EPDM, Hypalon, natural rubber, oil-rated nitrile, Neoprene, silicone and Varprene hose materials. We can review chemical compatibility and provide samples for soak testing when needed.

• Extruded hoses — Neoprene, Hypalon, Varprene and silicone. Preferred for foods, pharmaceuticals and clean fluids at lower pressure. Typical life 700–1,000 hours at 30 RPM.
• Fiber-braided hoses — natural rubber, EPDM and nitrile. Preferred for abrasives, stronger vacuum and the full 45 PSI rating. Typical life 1,500–2,000 hours at 30 RPM.

Connections are typically male NPT, hose barb, ANSI flange or tri-clamp and are offered in PTFE, brass, carbon steel and 316 stainless steel.

Gear-Motor Options

Seven ⅓ HP gear-motor speeds are offered as 230/460 VAC three-phase TEFC. Single-phase motors can be supplied on request. Maximum pressure is higher with heavy-duty fiber-braided hose:

Shaft-drive configuration (no motor) is also available. The 45 PSI rating applies to heavy-duty fiber-braided hose at the lower speeds.
