Vector Model 2005 Peristaltic Pump

Dry-Case Roller Design — 1″ Hose, up to 5.9 GPM at 50 PSI

The Vector 2005 is an industrial-grade roller-style peristaltic pump for transfer duties up to 5.9 GPM at pressures to 50 PSI. A dry case and rotating rollers pinch the hose, so the only wear part in contact with the process fluid is the 1″ hose itself. When the pump is operated at ≤80 RPM and ≤8 hours per day, typical hose life is 1,500–2,500 hours.

Because there are no seals, valves or packing in the fluid path, the 2005 is a practical choice for abrasive slurries, chemically aggressive fluids and sampling or wastewater transfer. It is self-priming, can run dry without damage, and is fully reversible.

Hose Materials & Connections

Vector 2005 pumps are available with EPDM, Hypalon, natural rubber, oil-rated nitrile, Neoprene and Varprene hose materials. We can review chemical compatibility and provide samples for soak testing when needed.

• Extruded hoses — Neoprene and Varprene. Neoprene is limited to 30 PSIG. Preferred for cleaner fluids at lower pressure. Typical life 700–1,000 hours at 30 RPM.
• Fiber-braided hoses — EPDM, Hypalon, nitrile and natural rubber (standard and heavy-duty). Preferred for abrasives, stronger vacuum and the full 50 PSI rating. Typical life 1,500–2,000 hours at 30 RPM.

Connections are typically male NPT, hose barb, ANSI flange or tri-clamp and are offered in PTFE, carbon steel and 316 stainless steel.

Gear-Motor Options

Five gear-motor speeds are offered as 230–460 VAC three-phase TEFC. Four use a ½ HP motor; the highest-flow option uses ¾ HP. Single-phase motors can be supplied on request. Maximum pressure is higher with heavy-duty fiber-braided hose:

Shaft-drive configuration (no motor) is also available. The 50 PSI rating applies to heavy-duty fiber-braided hose at the lower speeds.
