The Hayward HLS Series liquid level sensor provides highly accurate and repeatable measurement for industrial tank applications. Its all-CPVC body, alumina diaphragm and triple-sealed cable entry make it a reliable choice for a wide range of process fluids.
The physical location of the sensor marks the lowest measurable liquid level in the tank — the sensor will not read below its own elevation. Because the pressure reading is referenced to water, simply divide the sensor output (feet of water) by the specific gravity of your fluid to obtain the true liquid height above the sensor.
