P700 Hydra Cell Pro Metering Pump

Wanner™ Hydra-Cell® Pro model P700 metering pumps provide API 675 compliant metering pump performance with regards to steady state accuracy, linearity and repeatability for flow rates as high as 1394 GPH at pressures up to 1,200 PSI.

 

The sealless design of P700 Hydra Cell Pro metering pumps enables them to meter a broad range of difficult to pump fluids at high pressures without the risk of fugitive emissions/leakage; P700 Hydra Cell Pro metering pumps differ from piston and plunger style pumps having packing and seals which wear and leak over time. The sealless design of the P700 Hydra Cell Pro pump enables is to reliability pump non-lubricating, abrasive and extreme temperature fluids.

 

The maximum flow rate is determined by the gear box ration used to limit the pump shaft speed along with an optional variable frequency drive.  The P700 Hydra Cell Pro is actually a standard model Hydra Cell Pro Model D35 pump; the gearbox mechanically reduces the pump shaft speed in support of lower flow rates and minimizes the motor/VFD horsepower required.  Most VFD's have some programmability and can be interfaced with a customer supplied PLC although we offer a preprogrammed PLC/VFD control package call the "Control Freak" capable of controlling as many as six metering pump simultaneously.

The only components in contact with the pumped fluid are the elastomers and check valves (5 diaphragms and 10 check valves).  Although the check valves will eventually wear and require replacement, that's not necessarily so for the diaphragms.  After testing for approximately 20,000 hours of continuous operation it was discerned that there was no appreciable "wear" to the diaphragms.  The check valves will typically last 6,570-8,760 hours (9-12 months of continuous operation) depending upon the fluid characteristics and the materials used for the check valves.

Check valves are easily replaced without needing special tools or training; often they can be replaced without removing the pump from the process line and within 90 minutes.
