The Wanner™ Hydra-Cell® Pro model D10, H25 and D35 pumps are the most reliable high pressure pump design for car washes. Renowned for their reliability and low maintenance requirements, we are the best source for replacement Hydra-Cell Pumps and parts.
Our personnel have been providing sales and engineering support for Wanner Engineering Hydra-Cell pumps for 34 years; we have been factory trained for trouble shooting and repairs. We have worked with some of the worlds largest suppliers of car wash systems and have supported car washes all over the world. When you call or email our office, you are connected to a person that has been trained in the design, application and repair of Hydra-Cell Pumps. We can get you any part that you need at significantly discounted prices because of our Factory Direct Business model. You cannot source Hydra-Cell Pro Pumps online for a lesser cost - we did our homework, our prices are the lowest you will find and since we are one of the oldest sales organizations for Wanner Engineering, you are not likely to find anyone more knowledgeable than we are when it comes to Hydra-Cell Prop Pumps for car washes.
The model D10 pump is often used as a prep-gun or "bumper blaster" application supporting up to (2) high pressure spray wands. Over the years the part numbers have evolved to reflect upgrades in the base pump design; in the 1990's the part number was D10XLBNHFECA, then in the early 2000's it was D10XKBTHFECA and effective January 2024 the belt-driven version of the D10 Hydra-Cell Pro pump is D10XPBTHFECA. We sell them for $1500 + UPS shipping. The direct drive model is signified by replacing the "X" with an "E" in the part number and costs the same.
The original higher flowed ate Hydra-Cell Pump for car washes was the model D25 and it had a 1" diameter shaft, however that was later replaced by the H25 model having a 1.125" diameter shaft supported by oversized Timken roller bearings which boosted the hydraulic end service life to to where it is now. In the 1990's the part number was H25XBTHFECA and has since chnaged to H25XKBTHFECA. We sell them for $3600 + UPS shipping. The direct drive model is signified by replacing the "X" with an "E" in the part number and costs the same.

Its all in the oil. Regular oil changes will
help ensure that your pump can last over a decade of daily use.
The D10 Hydra-Cell Pro Pumps should have their 1 quart of oil in the hydraulic end changed every 3000 hrs of use, which is about once per year. The oil in H25 (3.3 quarts) and D35 pumps (7.75 quarts) should be changed every 1500 hours of use, so about once every six months. You can use any 10W30 synthetic oil in your Hydra-Cell Pumps. The Hydra-Oil which is installed in new pumps has additives designed to reduce wear during the initial break-in period of Hydra-Cell Pro Pumps and it costs much less than quality synthetic motor oil such as Mobil 1; part number A01-114-3430, $16.25/quart. Refer to our article Role and importance of oil used in Wanner™ Hydra-Cell® Pro Pumps for additional information.
Fluid-End Repair Kits are the other maintenance related item required to keep Hydra-Cell Pro Pumps in service. Specifically the check valve kit replaces the check valve discs and seats, along with the springs, retainers and all of the o-rings. The valve discs and seats wear over time and you know they are worn out when the pump starts running rough. The wear life expectancy is from 9,000-12,000 hours of use, which is typically 3+ years of usage before they need to be replaced; D10's: part number G10V52THFEC ($227.50), H25's: G25V52THFEC ($357.50) and G35V52THFEC ($598.00). While a packing/plunger kit for a General or other brand tri-plex plunger pump may cost a little less, you are going to replace them more frequently and its a more complex repair. Refer to our articles Check Valve Wear Insights, Component Breakdown of Wanner™ Hydra-Cell® Pro Pumps and Wanner™ Hydra-Cell® Pro Pumps Compared to Piston and Plunger Pumps for additional information about our pump design.
