Flow rates from 0.80 to 36.5 GPM at pressures from 50 to 1,500 PSI
The Wanner Hydra-Cell Pro® D10, H25 and D35 are the high-pressure pumps we specify most often for car washes. There is no packing to leak or adjust. We supply replacement pumps, pump/motor skids and parts at factory-direct pricing.
We have sold and supported Hydra-Cell pumps for 34 years and are factory trained on troubleshooting and repair. We work with large wash-system builders and with individual sites. When you call this office you reach someone who knows the pump, not a switchboard. You will not find these pumps for less online.
The D10 is the usual prep-gun / bumper-blaster pump and will feed up to two high-pressure wands. Part numbers have changed with design upgrades: D10XLBNHFECA in the 1990s, D10XKBTHFECA in the early 2000s, and D10XPBTHFECA for the belt-drive Pro pump as of January 2024. We sell that pump for $1,609 + UPS. Replace the “X” with an “E” for the direct-drive version at the same price.
The earlier high-flow wash pump was the D25 with a 1″ shaft. It was replaced by the H25, which uses a 1.125″ shaft and oversized Timken roller bearings. The 1990s number was H25XBTHFECA; the current belt-drive Pro pump is H25XKBTHFECA at $3,934 + UPS. Direct drive uses an “E” in place of the “X” and is the same price.

It is the oil. Regular changes will ensure a decade or more of hydrauilc end life.
Change the 1 quart in a D10 pump every 3,000 hours — about once a year. Change the 3.3 quarts in an H25 and the 7.75 quarts in a D35 every 1,500 hours — about every six months. Any 10W-30 synthetic oil will work. Hydra-Oil shipped in new pumps has break-in additives and costs more than a premium motor oil such as Mobil 1. Part number A01-114-3430 is $17.29/quart. See Role and importance of oil used in Wanner Hydra-Cell Pro® Pumps.
The other routine maintenance item is the fluid-end check-valve kit: discs, seats, springs, retainers and O-rings. The pump starts to run rough when the discs and seats are worn. Typical life is 9,000–12,000 hours, or about three years in a wash. Kits: D10 G10V52THFEC ($243), H25 G25V52THFEC ($383), D35 G35V52THFEC ($640). A plunger-pump packing kit may cost less up front; you replace it more often and the job is harder. See Check Valve Wear Insights, Component Breakdown of Hydra-Cell Pro Pumps and Hydra-Cell Pro compared to piston and plunger pumps.
We supply any replaceable Hydra-Cell Pro component and accessories, including pressure-regulating valves. We can repair pumps at our New Jersey shop, walk a tech through a repair live, train on site or by video, and arrange factory work if the hydraulic end is damaged. That support is at no charge. Wanner® also publishes a nine-part H25 series that applies to the D10, D12 and D40:
