The Vector 4004 is a lubricant-filled roller pump for higher pressure and continuous-duty service compared with the similarly sized dry-case Model 2004. Fluid never contacts seals, valves or packing — the hose is the only wetted wear part. A food application that cannot use a glycerine/glycol-filled case is usually a better fit for the grease-lubricated 2004.
The performance curve separates continuous (24 hour), intermittent and occasional duty so the pump can be sized for 1,500–2,000 hours of hose life.
| Specification | Details |

| Maximum Discharge Pressure | 110 PSI (7.6 bar); 45–60 PSI at the higher speeds |
| Maximum Suction Lift | 29.5 feet (9 m) |
| Maximum Suction Pressure | 21.8 PSI (1.5 bar) |
| NPSHr | 4 feet |
| Displacement | 0.022 gal/rev |
| Maximum Horsepower | ¾ HP |
| Hose Size | 15 × 37 × 830 mm (hose is the only wearable part) |
| Pump Weight | 49 lb (22 kg) pump only; 77 lb with drive |
| Case Lubricant | 0.42 qt (0.4 L) glycerine/glycol |
| Design | Lubricant-filled roller style — ductile-iron casing and wheel, Lexan cover |
The 4004 uses fiber-braided hoses in natural rubber, oil-rated NBR, EPDM and Hypalon. Typical hose life is 1,500–2,000 hours at 30 RPM. We can review chemical compatibility and provide samples for soak testing when needed. A searchable peristaltic hose chemical compatibility guide is also available.
Connections are ¾″ hose barbs in 316 stainless steel, polypropylene or PVDF.
Five ¾ HP three-phase 230–460 VAC TEFC gear-motor speeds are offered. Maximum pressure is speed-dependent:
| Flow (GPH) | HP | Gear Ratio | Pump RPM | Max. PSI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 23.7 | ¾ | 74:1 | 18 | 116 |
| 51.4 | ¾ | 35:1 | 39 | 116 |
| 73.9 | ¾ | 24:1 | 56 | 60 |
| 92.5 | ¾ | 19:1 | 70 | 45 |
| 114.8 | ¾ | 16:1 | 87 | 45 |
Catalog maximum discharge pressure is 110 PSI. The two slowest drives are listed at 116 PSI on the order chart. 114.8 GPH is about 1.9 GPM. Stay in the continuous-duty portion of the curve when the application runs around the clock.
Approximate assembled cost is $3,615 including the gear motor. Hose material and connection type can affect the cost. Final pricing is confirmed with the inquiry.
