Model D/M03 Hydra-Cell™ Pumps

The D03 and M03 Hydra-Cell™ Pump is a sealless positive displacement pump capable of flow rates up to 3 GPM and pressure up to 1200 PSI.  The D03 version has a male pump shaft and requires a shaft coupling to attach to a motor.  The M03 version has a hollow pump shaft, accepting the motor shaft of a 56C NEMA frame motor, thus no shaft coupling or coupling guard is required.

The sealless design of D03 Hydra Cell pumps enables them to operate dry, remain undamaged with a restricted or blocked inlet and handle a wide variety of fluids.  Since there are no cups, packing or mechanical seals, D03 Hydra Cell pumps are not dependent upon the fluid pumped for lubrication or cooling, therefore non-lubricating, extreme temperature and abrasive fluids are pumped reliably.

D03 Hydra Cell pumps are used throughout the chemical metering industry, on farms for fertilizer dosing and hydro-seeding, catalyst injection for NOx reduction, greenhouse humidification, evaporative cooling, hydrostatic testing, reverse osmosis and special effects for companies such as Disney Imagineering.

Simplicity = Reliability

The only components in contact with the pumped fluid are the diaphragms, o-rings and check valve assemblies. Only the check valves are considered wear items which eventually need replacement.  As a sealless design, there's no sudden leakage or pump damage, rather simply a degradation of performance after 9-12 months of continuous operation (6570-8760 hours), so you can plan the maintenance.  Swapping-out check valves requires no special tools or training and can often be accomplished within an hour without removing the pump from the system.  The special Monoblock version further simplifies check valve replacement with a pump head that doesn't need to be removed to change the check valves.
