Wanner™ Hydra-Cell^® Pro model PH70 positive displacement pumps are used for pharmaceutical and other applications in biotechnology, food/beverage, cosmetics, nutraceuticals and semiconductor industries.  All of these industries share similar requirements for a sealless and sanitary pump design which can reliably pump a variety of non-lubricating fluids of various viscosities.  While clean-in-place, delicate transfer and difficult to pump liquids are application characteristics throughout industrial manufacturing processes, those within the aforementioned industries benefit from a hygienic pump head design having easy to clean surfaces, repeatable performance per a given pump configuration and sealless design to minimize contamination of process liquids and downstream equipment.

The PH70 Hydra-Cell Pro pump is based upon the industrial version D35 Hydra-Cell Pro Pump, having a pentaplex (5-pump chamber) design and modified to have a sanitary pump head design.  All wetted surfaces are polished to ≤ 0.8 Ra, materials are fully traceable and TSE/BSE-free and the elastomers satisfy FDA material requirements. 

The PH70 delivers a nearly pulse-free flow rate with accuracy that exceeds API 675 metering pump standards related to repeatability, steady-state accuracy and linearity.  Its gentle pumping action is compatible with shear sensitive liquids and its reliability is unmatched for pumping liquid slurries, abrasives, corrosives and non-lubricating liquids.
