Vector Model 2008 Peristaltic Pump

Roller Design — 3″ Hose, up to 50 GPM at 100 PSI

The Vector 2008 is a 3″ industrial roller-style peristaltic pump for continuous-duty transfer of difficult fluids and slurries, including meat-rendering waste. The hose is the only part in contact with the process fluid. When the pump is operated at ≤60 RPM (about 40 GPM) for ≤8 hours per day, typical hose life is up to 2,000 hours.

The 2008 can be run as a dry-case roller pump or with a lubricant-filled casing. It is self-priming, can run dry without damage, and is fully reversible.

Hose Materials & Connections

The 2008 uses fiber-braided hoses only: EPDM, Hypalon, natural rubber (standard and heavy-duty) and oil-rated nitrile. Standard-duty EPDM, Hypalon and natural rubber are limited to 75 PSIG. Heavy-duty natural rubber and oil-rated nitrile are rated to 100 PSIG. We can review chemical compatibility and provide samples for soak testing when needed.

Connections are 3″ male NPT or 3″ 150 lb ANSI flange and are offered in 316 stainless steel, carbon steel, nylon (200°F max.) and polypropylene (185°F max.).

Gear-Motor Options

Six three-phase 230–460 VAC TEFC gear-motor speeds are offered, from 5 HP to 7½ HP. Single-phase motors can be supplied on request. Maximum pressure at the highest speed is 90 PSI:

Shaft-drive configuration (no motor) is also available. 50 GPM is an intermittent rating. Fluid viscosity of 0–500 cps is intended for 0–75 PSIG; 500–100,000 cps for 0–100 PSIG.

2008 Gearmotor and Gearbox Numbers

B2 gearbox is for a NEMA 182TC motor; D2 through L2 gearboxes are for a NEMA 184TC motor. Silicone grease for dry-case service: 2000-115-3400 (5.3 oz) or 2000-115-3401 (14.1 oz). Glycerine/glycol lubricant for a filled case: 3000-115-3408 (1 qt), 3000-115-3404 (1 gal) or 3000-115-3406 (6 liters).
