Vector Model 2009 Peristaltic Pump

Roller Design — 4″ Hose, up to 120 GPM at 100 PSI

The Vector 2009 is a 4″ industrial roller-style peristaltic pump for high-flow transfer of difficult fluids and slurries. The hose is the only part in contact with the process fluid. When the pump is operated at ≤50 RPM for ≤8 hours per day, typical hose life is at least 1,500 hours. Keeping shaft speed near ≤30 RPM further extends hose life.

The 2009 can be run as a dry-case roller pump or with a lubricant-filled casing. It is self-priming, can run dry without damage, and is fully reversible.

Hose Materials & Connections

The 2009 uses fiber-braided hoses only: EPDM, Hypalon, natural rubber (standard and heavy-duty) and oil-rated nitrile. Standard-duty EPDM, Hypalon and natural rubber are limited to 75 PSIG. Heavy-duty natural rubber and oil-rated nitrile are rated to 100 PSIG. We can review chemical compatibility and provide samples for soak testing when needed. A 4″ 150 lb ANSI flanged connection is standard. 4″ male NPT connections are also offered in 316 stainless steel, carbon steel and nylon (200°F max.).

Gear-Motor Options

Six three-phase 230–460 VAC TEFC gear-motor speeds are offered, from 7½ HP to 15 HP. Maximum pressure at the highest speed is 90 PSI:

Shaft-drive configuration (no motor) is also available. 120 GPM is an intermittent rating. Fluid viscosity of 0–500 cps is intended for 0–75 PSIG; 500–100,000 cps for 0–100 PSIG. For longest hose life, stay near ≤30 RPM where the duty allows.

Parts List — Model 2009

Ref. Nos. 1–3 use the same window hardware as the 2008. Ref. No. 18 lists hose options and Ref. No. 25 lists connector options — order one hose and two connectors per pump. The oil-rated nitrile hose is printed as 2008-108-2332. Gearbox and gearmotor (Ref. No. 16) are listed in the drive table below.

2009 Gearmotor and Gearbox Numbers

B2 gearbox is for a NEMA 184TC motor; D2 and F2 for 213TC; H2 and J2 for 215TC; L2 for 254TC. Silicone grease for dry-case service: 2000-115-3400 (5.3 oz) or 2000-115-3401 (14.1 oz). Glycerine/glycol lubricant for a filled case: 3000-115-3408 (1 qt), 3000-115-3404 (1 gal) or 3000-115-3406 (6 liters).
