The Vector 4003 high pressure peristaltic pump is capable of higher pressure than the comparably sized Vector model 2003 peristaltic pump because it has a wet lubricated shoe design.  When your application require high pressure or is continuous duty, the 4003 might be the better choice; likewise a food application usually benefits from the grease-only hose lubrication style of the model 2003.

 

The flow chart for the 4003 high pressure peristaltic pump differentiates between continuous, intermittent and occasional usage applications to guide proper pump sizing in support of 1,500 to 2,000 hours of hose life.

 

There are four hose materials: natural rubber, oil-rate nitrile, EPDM, Hypalon and the connections are ¾" hose barbs made of 316SS, polypropylene or PVDF.

 

There are five ¾ horsepower gear motor options for model 4003 high pressure peristaltic pumps to support flow rates up to ¾ GPM.
