Wanner™ Hydra-Cell® Pro model P200 Metering Pump
Metering pump flow rates from 2 to 80 GPH at pressures to 1000 PSI
Wanner™ Hydra-Cell® Pro model P200 satisfies API 675 metering pump performance standards with regards to linearity, steady-state accuracy and repeatability for flow rates up to 80 GPH and at pressures up to 1,000 PSI.
The sealless design of the P200 Hydra Cell Pro metering pump enables it to reliably meter a broad range of fluids, from clear water to viscous or abrasive slurries. The P200 Hydra Cell Pro metering pump shown above is a standard Hydra Cell Pro Model M03 Hydra Cell pump attached to a right angle gearbox. The gearbox is used to mechanically reduce the shaft speed in support of delivering lower flow rates using lower HP motors and variable frequency drives (VFDs). We offer (12) different gearbox ratios which interface with 56C NEMA frame 1800 RPM motors.
Most VFD's have some programmability and can be interfaced with a customer supplied PLC. Our preprogrammed touch-screen "Control Freak" metering pump PLC and VFD system can control up to six metering pump systems simultaneously.
Smooth Performance
The camshaft actuates each diaphragm in sequence using a dynamic hydraulic cylinder. This triplex pump chamber design results in 6 pulses per shaft revolution, equating to approximately 2 to 36 pulses per second depending upon the gearbox ratio used. The pulsation frequency is so high that our customers usually do not require pulsation dampeners, eliminating a costly component and the associated maintenance that goes with it from their system. P200 Hydra Cell Pro pumps have no cups, packing or mechanical seals and therefore they can operate dry, are not damaged by a clogged inlet condition and can pump particulate laden or hazardous fluids without concern for fugitive emissions.
Keeping It Simple (KIS)
The sealless design of the P200 Hydra Cell Pro metering pump has few components exposed to the pumped fluid; diaphragms, o-rings and check valves. The check valves are the only "wear item" unless there's some chemical incompatibility between the fluid and elastomers. The frequency of check valve replacement varies from approximately 9 to 12 months of continuous service (6570-8760 hours) dependent upon the fluid characteristics. P200 Hydra Cell Pro pump check valves are easily replaced without the need for special tools and their replacement can be accomplished within 1 hour without necessarily removing the pump from the process line.
To provide a proposal for a complete pump/motor/VFD/PLC assembly we require additional information from you to properly size and select the motor and optional controllers. The best thing to do is to review the Hydra Cell Pro Model P200 metering pump catalog pages and use our email inquiry form to provide us with the design criteria needed.
