The Wanner Hydra-Cell® Pro PH30 is the pharmaceutical variation of the industrial Model D10 Hydra-Cell Pro pump. It is a seal-less positive-displacement pump that can also be used for precision metering. With no dynamic seals in contact with the process liquid, the PH30 reliably handles non-lubricating, abrasive and hazardous fluids that are problematic for pumps relying on cups, packing or mechanical seals.
Dynamic seals are expensive to maintain and are a common source of fugitive emissions. The Hydra-Cell Pro design simplifies the pumping mechanism to a pair of spring-loaded check valves and a diaphragm per chamber, delivering extreme reliability across a broad range of difficult-to-pump liquids.

The PH series enables Hydra-Cell Pro pumps to meet the more stringent requirements of pharmaceutical and food-product manufacturing. Key differences from the industrial versions include:
Optional features include:
The multi-diaphragm design produces a barely perceptible pulsation characteristic, making the PH30 well suited for shear-sensitive liquids and for use with nano-, ultra- and RO membrane filtration equipment. Hydra-Cell Pro pumps can operate dry and are used in the pharmaceutical industry for:
