The
industrial grade model 2003 peristaltic pump is designed for
transferring up to 1 GPM of fluids at pressures up to 20 PSI.
When operated at ≤ 80 RPM for ≤ 8 hours daily you can
expect to receive 1,500 - 2,000 hours of hose life before
performance degrades or the hose ruptures.
Since the industrial grade hose is the only item in contact with the fluid pumped, the model 2003 peristaltic pumps are usually used to transfer aggressive fluids; either abrasive with solids or chemically aggressive. It is common to install a small peristaltic pump on a cart as a portable transfer pump and due to its lack of check valves, is also used for food and beverage applications.
Available hose materials include PharMed, Hypalon, natural rubber, EPDM, silicone and Varprene; if you are not sure about chemical compatibility we can assist or provide samples for soak testing. Connections are male NPT, hose barb or tri-clamp and available in PTFE, brass and 316SS.
We offer (5) different gear motor speeds, all are ¼ horsepower and they can be supplied for single or three phase electrical service.
