The D66 Hydra-Cell™ Pump is a powerful positive displacement pump capable of flow rates from 13 to 65.7 GPM at pressures from 50 to 1000 PSI.  This is another pentaplex model, which means it has five pumping chambers, which ensure very smooth pumping operation.  There are pulses per revolution which equates to over 160 pulses per second at the 65 GPM flow rate.  Although the catalog pages note the maximum pressure as 700 PSI, they are no rated for pressures up to 1000 PSI and this will be reflected in the next catalog printing. 

 

D66 Hydra-Cell pumps are used for high pressure applications requiring higher flow rates such as centrifugal pump seal flushing, centralized cleaning systems and large CNC machine tool coolant systems.  Sometimes applications benefit from a physically larger pump head, this is especially true of viscous pumping applications.  The D66, like all Hydra-Cell pumps, will provide metering pump performance in terms of repeatability, steady state accuracy and linearity throughout a 10:1 turndown ratio, so in the case of a D66, from approximately 6.5 to 65 GPM.

We offer polypropylene pump heads for lower pressure applications involving aggressive fluids.  Standard alloy materials for the D66 Hydra-Cell pump include brass, nickel plated ductile iron and 316 stainless steel.

 

D66 Hydra-Cell Pumps tolerate running dry, a closed inlet while running and fluid temperatures from -20F to 200F.
